Storms Come
Storms do not always come because of disobedience. The disciples were being obedient when they got into a ship and were going to the other side (Matthew 14:22). Regardless of the reason that storms come, know that Jesus said in Hebrews 13:5 that he will never leave nor forsake you. You will never be in the storm alone. Learn to call his name "Jesus" and he will be right there to immediately help you. Don't restrict Jesus in how He appears and provides help. The disciples saw Jesus in the fourth watch and were troubled saying it is a spirit and were afraid. Then Jesus encouraged them by letting them know that it was Him and that Peter should, at his own request, walk out on the water. Be careful what you ask Jesus to do in the midst of your storm. Whatever He commands you to do, make sure that you keep your eyes on Him. He will guide you through the storm to the other side.
