Experience Is A Very Good Teacher

I remember as a teenager being somewhat daring and curious about many things in life. I was full of questions and sought the answers as best as I could. For me this often meant reading which is even today one of my best loves. However, once I said in the presence of my father when trying to get the answer to some quest that I was on, "I'll try anything once". I did not realize the import of my sentence and my father immediately took possession of my words (Numbers 30:3-5). Experience is a very good teacher but it doesn't have to be MY experience (Philippians 3:17; II Thessalonians 3:9 and II Peter 2:6).
