GOAT
The word “goat” has been used in American sports since the early 1900s, first as a derisive term for a player responsible for a team’s loss, and later, often in capital letters, as an acronym for “greatest of all time.”
I remember one fighter who boldly proclaimed that he was "the greatest". Muhammad Ali, the silver-tongued boxer and civil rights champion famously proclaimed himself "The Greatest" died. He was 74. He was not "The Greatest".
I know who is The Greatest. The Bible (1 Corinthians 13:13) says that "now abideth faith, hope, charity (translated Love in the amplified version) but the greatest of these is charity (Love). Love is the Greatest.
Who is Love? Who - not What? God is Love (1 John 4:8) God is "The Greatest". He did not die at age 74. God is the Greatest Of All Time.
