Breathe On Me
These days I find myself standing closer and closer so that I can hear clearly and understand what is being said. However in the process, it means that the individual is now breathing on me and I am breathing on them. Don't let one of us cough and either one not have time to retreat quickly enough. I suppose this is how germs get transmitted so quickly.
Genesis 2:7-15 records how God made man and breathed the breath of life into him and man became a living soul. Job 33:4 records Job saying that the breath of God gave him life. Psalm 104:29 lets me know that the same God that gave me breath can take it back and I will die. John 20:22 records that Jesus breathed on the disciples and they received the Holy Ghost.
I am still concerned about who is in my "personal space" and the breath that comes forth from those that I know and those that I do not know. I thank God that I know who has breathed on me and given me the breath of life ... the breath of life ... the breath of life. Some have received the breath of death, or illness or sickness. Who has breathed on you? Who is breathing on you now? Selah
